Cafe machines,
kitchen counters.

We equip cafes for a living. These are the machines from that catalog that actually belong in a house, paired with the grinders that make them worth owning, and the coffee we import to run through them.

Start here

Two honest routes.

There is no third. Either you want to learn to pull a shot, or you want coffee in the cup in forty seconds. Both are legitimate, and the wrong machine for your temperament is money burned.

The other half of the cup

The grinder is not an accessory.

Every espresso guide tells you the grinder matters as much as the machine, then sells you the machine. Both of these are flat burr and on demand, and both plug into a wall outlet. The difference is how you want to interact with them.

The short version. The UNIC is the better grinder on paper and the better value, 64mm burrs under a thousand dollars is hard to beat. The Fiorenzato costs more and gives you repeatability, digital dosing and a second year of warranty. Neither is a mistake.

Water

The part nobody tells you about.

Scale is what kills these machines, and the fix depends entirely on which version you have.

Tank fed machines like the Oscar II Pour Over and the Saeco cannot take an inline filter, so the water gets treated before it goes in the reservoir. Be careful here: a standard pitcher filter removes chlorine and improves taste but does almost nothing to the calcium and magnesium that actually scale a boiler. Straight distilled or RO is the opposite mistake, it corrodes boiler metal and makes espresso taste hollow, because you need dissolved mineral to extract flavor properly.

Plumbed machines like the Oscar II Direct Connect take a proper inline espresso filtration system, and the right one costs far less than the manufacturer branded unit most dealers attach to the order.

Tell us your zip code when you request a quote and we will tell you what your water actually needs, including when the answer is nothing.

Why buy it here

We are the only ones who also roast what goes in it.

Equipment sellers hand you a box. We import the coffee, so the machine is the beginning of the relationship rather than the end of it.

01

Dialed to your coffee

We send a setup guide written for the exact machine, grinder and beans you ordered, not a generic manual. Starting grind, dose and yield, so your first shot is drinkable.

02

Coffee that keeps coming

Single estate Ceylon and the regional lots we bring in ourselves, at a standing home price. You are not hunting for beans once the machine lands.

03

A person on the phone

We sell and service this equipment commercially. When something drifts, you are calling the people who install these for cafes, not a call center reading a script.

One thing we will tell you that others will not.

These are commercial machines. Every manufacturer in this category states that warranty does not extend to residential installation, and that is true wherever you buy them, including from us. Anyone selling you a commercial machine for a house and implying otherwise is not being straight with you.

So we talk it through before you order, and we will tell you honestly whether the machine you are looking at is a sensible thing to own in a kitchen.

Before you ask

Questions worth raising.

Do I need a plumber or an electrician?

No, not for anything on this page. The Oscar II Pour Over, the Saeco and both grinders ship with a cord and a standard NEMA 5-15P plug and run on ordinary household current. Only the Oscar II Direct Connect needs a water line, and that is the version you choose deliberately.

Is the Oscar II too much machine for a house?

It is forty pounds and twelve inches wide, so it is real but it is not absurd. The honest constraint is counter depth at sixteen inches and clearance for the cup and portafilter. Measure before you order. If your counter is tight, the Saeco takes less working room in practice because you are not swinging a portafilter around.

Can I skip the grinder and use pre-ground?

You can, and the shots will be flat. Espresso is the one brewing method where grind freshness and particle consistency are not a refinement, they are the whole thing. If the budget only reaches one of the two, a good grinder with a modest machine beats a good machine with bagged coffee every time.

Why is there no checkout button?

Because equipment is not a t-shirt. Freight, lead time, voltage, water and whether the thing fits your counter all change the answer, and we would rather get that right once than have you unbox a surprise. Send the request and you get a real quote from a person.

What if I want something bigger?

Then you are probably opening something, and that is a different conversation we are glad to have. We supply full cafe and commercial kitchen equipment with design, install, financing and barista training.

Tell us what you are building.

Counter space, water, how many drinks a day, and whether you want to learn the craft or skip to the cup. We will come back with the right pairing and a real number.
